Program Two

TOGETHER WE STAND

Sisters of the Bible will be partnering with all Christian Authors, Poets, also Women in the film/video industry, churches, and Christian organizations.

The reason for partnering is to give every female youth every opportunity to be informed of their choices in life so they can make the difficult decisions we all have to make to live a God serving life.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Key aspects of “training up a child”

  • Instilling values:

Teaching children n the “way they should go” involves showing them the right path or moral conduct, according to religious or community values.

  • Consistency:

The concept suggests that consistent teaching and modeling of these values are essential so that they become deeply ingrained in a child’s life.

  • Long-term impact:

The goal is that these early teachings will become a lasting part of the child’s character and behavior as they grow into an adult.

  • Guidance and love:

The process involves guiding children, showing them true love, and equipping them with the knowledge and principles they need to navigate life.

In essence, “train up a child” is a parenting philosophy centered on providing foundational principles, values, and character development that will guide a child throughout their life. It is for certain that a trained up child will take it upon themselves to become a mentor to others.

The Sisters of the Bible will be introducing a program called “Youth to Youth Mentoring” program.

This program will be used to teach today’s youth to be tomorrow’s mentors.

Program Three

“The Golden Shepherd Award”

Program Overview: A gold statue of a “SHEEP’S HEAD” is awarded to the “Brother/Sister of the year” a man/woman who has shown above and beyond mentoring to young men and women in their community, province and nationally.

A POEM BY PASTOR JAMES

A WOMAN OF PURPOSE

Poem #0020

I’m a woman of Purpose, and I offer God my life

I’m a woman of Purpose, regardless of the strife

I’m a woman of Purpose, and a sinner I might be

I’m a woman of Purpose, and I will spend eternity with thee

God you promised me Hope, and you promised me Love

You said you’d watch over me, from Heaven above

You said you’d come back, and once more leave your throne

You said you’d come back, and take this sinner home

The women before me, each one now a saint

They did what God asked of them, with not one complaint

Every Mary, Martha and Sarah, not one did they mind

They waited on God, with the deaf, dumb, and blind

I’m learning the lessons, I read in His word

I’ll rebuke the devil, and I’ll march undeterred

I won’t give up, until I reach the end

I trust you Lord, and on your promise, I’ll depend

You proved your love, when you sent me your Son

Yes! you made me a promise, that can’t be undone

I can’t with clear conscience say, I’ll never fall

But I’ll live life on Purpose, and wait for your call
